Chris Vaughn is an army veteran who returns home after years of service in the US Air Force. He is happy to be with his family and meet his nephew, Pete, who he had hardly known. He also sees his old pal Ray again, who proposes to him that they do as in the good old days and challenge his old school rival, Jay Hamilton to a friendly game of football. But has Jay changed. He closed his father's mill, so as to open a very chic casino, which made the town prosperous. The casino brings money, but unfortunately also drugs and immorality. Chris doesn't like the changes. He stands up to the casino security team and is seriously hurt by Booth, the security manager. After his stay in hospital, Chris is arrested for a rampage at the casino. Chris is found not guilty at his trial and then runs for sheriff. He's elected and with the help of Ray, he starts his crusade against Jay and his casino... |

| Kevin plays Booth, the casino security manager. It's he who is in charge of quieting Chris Vaughn. The confrontations are numerous. Early in the movie, he charges Chris during the footbal match. He is also Jay Hamilton's right-hand man, responsible for the dirty work and is the main drug dealer. | |||
