| His favorite band- THE GREAT BIG SEA | |||
The Great Big Sea is a celtic folk band, native of Newfoundland, in Canada. Theirs music and songs are very rousing, and invite you to throw a big great party!! Lol... Their records are renowned for drawing together disparate threads of folk and pop music, while their shows are a storm of powerful singing, driving rhythms and soaring melody. Since the four original members started the band in March of 1993 as a post-university employment project, they have toured relentlessly, reveling in the joy of travel, and the challenge of bringing their music to first Canada, and then the rest of the world. From day one, it is the band's energetic concerts which have proven the base of their popularity. "Some of the music we play is hundreds of years old. If you are going to write songs to compete with that, you have got to work really hard," band leader Doyle suggests. "Plus, standing on a stage listening to a crowd of people sing along with you is the greatest feeling in the world. You never get tired of that." Their discography (in order of appearance): "Great Big Sea", "Up", "Play", "Rant and Roar", "Turn", "Road Rage" (live), "Sea of No Cares" and their latest album "The Hard and The Easy ". My fav' songs is "Feel it turns", "General Taylor", "Rant and Roar", "Everything shines". |

| His favorite band - THE BLUE ALARM | |||
The Blue Alarm is a new West Coast canadian band. Their music is especially influenced by english pop, and we can easily compare their melody to Coldplay or Travis. In the other hand, Fraser's charismatic voice is not without reminding the talentuous French singer Calogero. The band is composed by 3 talented musicians: Fraser Mackenzie (acoustic guitars, lead vocals, piano, background vocals, electric guitar), Brian Minato (bass guitar, electric guitars, keyboards, percussion, bg vocals, drum programming), Graham Tuson (drums, bg vocals). They released their first album "Astronauts & Angels" last year. You can listen to little samples and buy their CD on their official website . My fav' songs: "Brambled Stockings", "Astronauts & Angels", "God" |

His favorites towns - VANCOUVER |
Vancouver is his main residence. Located in British Columbia, at the South-West of Canada, Vancouver is the largest city in the province and the third largest in Canada. There is 560,000 residents (estimated). Vancouver's Central Area has 60% of the region's office space and is home to headquarters of forest products and mining companies as well as branches of national and international banks, accounting and law firms. In recent years, Vancouver has expanded as a centre for software development and biotechnology, while film studios and the streets provide a backdrop for the developing film industry: a lot of TV shows are shot here. Two of the Port of Vancouver's container docks are located in the city. The Fraser River has barge and log traffic serving forestry and other water related industries. Around 1,800 acres of industrial land provide an important range of support services, manufacturing and wholesale premises for businesses throughout the city and region. Vancouver is a major tourist destination. In addition to the city's scenic location, visitors enjoy beautiful gardens and world-famous Stanley Park , one of more than 180 city parks, and a combination of natural forest and parklands near the city center (source: CITY OF VANCOUVER) |

His favorites towns - THUNDER BAY |
Kevin is born and has raised at Thunder Bay, in beautiful and green Ontario. Located at Superior Lake's side, Thunder Bay is full of surprises. Take the climate for example: as its name suggests, the region does host some spectacular thunderstorms. However, with an average of over 2200 hours of sunshine annually, Thunder Bay holds the title of Canada's sunniest spot east of the prairies. The city itself is a vibrant, busy place with streetscapes varying from the business centres in the Intercity area to downtown shops and pretty residential neighbourhoods. Metropolitan pleasures such as shopping centres and restaurants abound, but we will also enjoy a network of biking/walking trails and about 4000 acres of greenspaces within city limits. On the shore of the world's largest freshwater lake, Thunder Bay boasts a spectacular landscape that also features the Nor'Wester range. The flat-topped mountains border the Slate River valley, forming a rich pocket of agricultural land right next to the city, and yielding the towering slopes of our alpine ski resorts. The resident population of 114,000 hosts a growing number of visitors and tourists each year. Source: THUNDER BAY OFFICIAL WEBSITE |

The City of Angels ... A dreaming world!! Here, we can find mythic Hollywood, cradle of american cinema for nearly one century, the Mecca of the cinematographic industry. So much magical places must be visited, from the awesome tags which decorate the sidewalk at Venice Beach, to Hollywood Hill, passing by disneyland at Anaheim... Stunning megapole by its gigantism (we guess about 200 kms of scale), sprawling boulevards (Wilshire boulevard, the longest one, extend on 24 kms), a coloured town, with thousands of architectures: to see, the nice little houses of Beverly Hills, or the big villas of Bel Air and of Malibu. Lost between the marina and the ocean, a complete atypical little island of paradise:Venice Beach canals. Exact replica of its european twin, Venice Beach is absolutely the funniest quarter to visit! Quarter of artists and globe-trotters, here all international languages are spoken. And it's so good strolling along the sidewalk the week-end, to do shopping among hundreds of little stalls, set up along the beach, or to offer oneself a sweet crazy thing: a henne tatoo, a real tatoo or a piercing among tens of shops. I don't have the real figures on mind. I only tell you my traveller experience, and my memories this magnifical town let in my head. I simply let your imagination wandering on mythic Hollywood Boulevard and its hundreds of stars which are inlaid on the sidewalk, to stroll towards Century City, district where are the entire headquarters of 20th Century Fox, to sit down at a table of UCLA, one of the most prestigious university of USA, or quite simply to admire this copy of Van Gogh's paint, awesome fresco on a wall of Venice beach... |
